Where do trips depart?
Marina Vallarta, Nuevo Vallarta, La Cruz and Punta de Mita are possible departure areas, depending on the chosen boat and route. We meet you at the designated departure port for your charter. Your confirmation includes the exact meeting point and arrival time. Pickup from a different port may be possible, subject to the boat, route and conditions, and may carry an additional charge. We confirm any additional charges before you book.
How long can we fish for?
Private fishing trips run from 4 to 12 hours depending on the boat. The 42-foot Uniflite has a six-hour minimum. We help match your time on the water to your group and the fishing grounds you want to reach.
Which fishing grounds should we choose?
Inshore trips work the reefs around Punta de Mita and Islas Marietas. El Morro offers a mid-range day, while El Banco and Corbeteña are offshore options for full-day runs. Your crew recommends the plan for your dates and conditions.
What does a fishing charter include?
Each fishing boat has its own inclusions. Check the boat listing for fishing gear, bait, licenses, refreshments and onboard facilities. We confirm everything included with your chosen boat and trip before booking.
Is the boat shared with other groups?
Never. Every trip is private to your group, and the crew plans the day around what you want to do.
Can you arrange a custom trip?
Yes. The trips and routes shown are starting points. Tell us your dates, group size, budget and ideas, and we can tailor a yacht day, fishing trip or full coastal itinerary with accommodation, flights and private transfers. We confirm the options and inclusions with you before booking, with routes planned around weather and sea conditions.
We’ve never fished offshore. Is that a problem?
Not at all. The crew rigs, baits and coaches, and many of our guests are first-timers. Experienced anglers can fish their own way.
What if we don’t catch anything?
Nobody can promise fish. What we can do is put you on the right grounds for the season with a crew that fishes these waters every week. On multi-day expeditions, the extra time is what lets the crew stay with the bite.
What if the weather turns or the sea is rough?
The captain makes the safety call. If a trip can’t run, we move it to another day of your stay or refund it.
Can you pick us up from our hotel or villa?
Private hotel, villa and airport transfers can be arranged separately, subject to availability and a tailored quote. Share where you are staying and we will confirm the options, meeting details and any additional charges before you book.
How do we reserve, and how do we pay?
A 50% deposit confirms your dates, with the balance before departure. Every trip is fully insured. Card payments carry a 5% surcharge, so transfer is the better value.
Can we keep the fish?
Yes, within Mexican fishing regulations. The crew can clean and bag your catch, and we can arrange for a restaurant to cook it that evening.
What should we bring?
Sunscreen, sunglasses, a hat and a light layer for the ride out. Ask us to arrange catering and drinks for your fishing group, or bring your own refreshments. Optional hospitality arrangements are quoted separately and depend on your boat and availability.
Can you arrange hospitality for a larger group or celebration?
Yes. We can arrange open bar, premium spirits & champagne, catering, a private chef, private transfers, event styling and corporate or celebration coordination. Optional arrangements are quoted separately and depend on guest count, duration, boat and availability. Refreshments and equipment are confirmed in your quote; any listed inclusions remain included. Any limited margarita service is not a full-charter open bar. Share your dates, guest count, occasion and desired add-ons. We confirm overnight guest capacity and sleeping arrangements separately from day-trip capacity.
