Privacy Policy

This explains what Tripletto collects, why we collect it, how we share it, and how we use it to run, protect, improve, and develop AI-assisted travel planning.

What we collect

We collect account and profile information such as name, email address, authentication identifiers, profile photo, sign-in provider, security settings, preferences, support messages, and communication choices.

We collect trip planning content you provide or generate in the app, including prompts, chat messages, trip briefs, dates, destinations, airports, party size, budget, travel style, hotel preferences, dining preferences, accessibility notes, dislikes, saved itineraries, generated trip data, shared trip links, collaboration records, exports, screenshots, feedback, and debug files you choose to download or send to us.

We collect usage, device, and log information such as browser, device, IP address, approximate location, pages and features used, timestamps, app performance, errors, local storage state, cookies, analytics events, and security signals.

If paid features are enabled, we receive billing and subscription metadata from payment providers, including customer identifiers, checkout status, invoice status, plan, credit purchases, charge dates, amounts, tax metadata, and refund or dispute status. We do not intentionally store full payment card numbers.

Where it comes from

  • Directly from you when you create an account, plan a trip, chat with the planner, save preferences, invite collaborators, contact support, or request billing help.
  • Automatically from your device, browser, app session, cookies, local storage, logs, and security systems.
  • From service providers that help us operate the app, such as authentication, hosting, database, analytics, search, AI, workflow, payment, support, and email providers.
  • From other users when they invite you to a trip, share a trip with you, identify you as a collaborator, or send us information related to a support request.

How we use it

  • To provide, operate, personalize, and support Tripletto, including account access, saved trips, collaboration, exports, billing, credits, and itinerary generation.
  • To process prompts, trip details, generated itineraries, feedback, debug exports, and related context with AI, search, workflow, and data providers so the app can produce and refine travel plans.
  • To evaluate, test, debug, monitor, protect, improve, train or tune internal systems where permitted, develop new products and features, and understand product quality and usage.
  • To communicate with you about the service, billing, security, support, product changes, research, offers, and legal notices.
  • To detect, prevent, and respond to fraud, abuse, security incidents, spam, unauthorized access, policy violations, chargebacks, and legal claims.
  • To comply with law, enforce our terms, maintain business records, resolve disputes, and protect Tripletto, users, partners, and the public.

AI processing

Tripletto is an AI-assisted travel planning service. Your prompts, chat history, trip details, preferences, generated outputs, feedback, and debug information may be processed by Tripletto and by AI, model, workflow, search, infrastructure, and analytics providers to provide the service, evaluate output quality, improve features, protect the app, and develop Tripletto.

AI outputs can be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or mismatched to your real-world constraints. Do not enter sensitive information that is not needed for travel planning, and verify travel, safety, entry, visa, medical, legal, price, and booking details with official sources before acting.

Aggregated and de-identified data

We may create, use, disclose, sell, license, and otherwise commercialize aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information for any lawful business purpose, including analytics, benchmarking, product development, model evaluation, research, marketing, and partnerships. We do not intend for this data to identify you personally.

How we share it

  • With service providers that help us provide hosting, storage, authentication, payments, AI/model processing, data enrichment, analytics, monitoring, support, email, security, and business operations.
  • With collaborators, invitees, viewers, and anyone who can access a trip link, export, screenshot, or debug file you create or share.
  • With payment processors, tax providers, banks, card networks, fraud tools, and dispute processors for billing and payment operations.
  • With professional advisers, authorities, courts, law enforcement, regulators, counterparties, or successors when needed for legal, safety, business, financing, merger, acquisition, or asset-transfer purposes.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

Service providers

Tripletto uses third-party service providers in categories such as infrastructure, authentication, payments, AI/model processing, data enrichment, analytics, monitoring, support, email, security, and business operations.

These providers process personal information only as needed for their role. Questions about service providers or data processing can be sent to support@tripletto.app.

Shared trips and public links

Tripletto lets users share itineraries and invite collaborators. Shared trip pages, exports, screenshots, and debug files may include trip details, prompts, generated itineraries, hotels, restaurants, dates, route information, notes, names, emails, and other planning content.

If a trip is made public, account-public, or shared by link, people with access may view or further share the information. Only share trips and exports with people you trust.

Cookies and local storage

We use cookies, local storage, session storage, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies for login sessions, security, preferences, saved app state, offline behavior, analytics, support diagnostics, checkout, and product performance. See our Cookie Policy and Your Privacy Choices page for more detail.

Retention

We keep personal information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide the service, maintain accounts and saved trips, support billing and tax records, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, improve the product, comply with law, and maintain backups and security logs.

Retention periods vary by data type. Account records, billing records, and legal records may be kept longer than ordinary support or diagnostic information. Deleted content may persist for a limited time in backups, logs, archives, or records we must keep for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or billing reasons.

Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, authentication, security rules, provider controls, and monitoring. No internet service can guarantee perfect security.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe, limiting access to shared trip links, and telling us promptly if you suspect unauthorized account use.

International transfers

Tripletto is operated from the United States and uses service providers that may process information in the United States and other countries. Those countries may have privacy laws different from where you live.

Privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or appeal of certain privacy decisions. Email support@tripletto.app to make a request. We may verify your identity, ask for more information, deny requests where allowed by law, and retain records where needed for legal, security, billing, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business purposes.

California and other state privacy laws may give eligible residents rights to know, delete, correct, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain sensitive personal information uses, and avoid discrimination for exercising privacy rights. See Your Privacy Choices for more detail.

Sale, sharing, and sensitive information

  • We do not sell personal information for money in the ordinary data-broker sense.
  • Some analytics, advertising, or cross-context tracking tools may be considered a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under certain privacy laws. If we use those tools, we will describe them and provide an opt-out path through Your Privacy Choices.
  • Trip planning content may include information some people consider sensitive, such as accessibility needs, dietary preferences, travel companions, location plans, or budget. Do not submit sensitive information unless it is needed for the trip plan.

Children

Tripletto is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy as Tripletto changes. If we make material changes to how we use personal information, including materially broader AI training, sharing, or commercialization practices, we will provide notice as required by law before applying those changes where required.
